DB developer

We are currently seeking a professional with minimum of 3+ years MS SQL Server experience with a thorough understanding of T-SQL, RDBMS design, and development.  In addition to strong programming skills and knowledge of constructs and features available in the latest versions of MSSQL, a strong focus on ETL development and best practices using SSIS is preferred for this position.


Job Responsibilities:

● Monitor incoming/outgoing data as well as create/modify code for processes relating to incoming/outgoing data feeds
● Create, maintain, and optimize database elements using stored procedures, views, functions, triggers, jobs, and execution plan analysis
● Experience using SQL Profiler and Extended Events to troubleshoot and optimize new and existing database code
● Apply/implement business logic for processes
● Take ownership of source-code archive
● Provide daily support for database activities
● Backup and restoration of data
● Technical documentation; educate users of the database

Job Skills/Requirements:

● MS SQL Server with T-SQL – minimum 3 plus years’ experience
● Experience with SQL Server 2008 R2 through 2016.
● Visual Studio + SSDT
● RDBMS experience
● Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services, creating new queries / reports and setting up and maintaining services and shared service components.
● Excellent documentation and general organization of ongoing tasks, including the ability to evaluate and question business rules
● Plus skills: Git, XML, PowerShell
● Familiarity with .Net Framework, Visual Studio, and Powershell for SQL Server and Azure SQL
